I began my career more than 30 years ago with Wilson Sporting Goods assembling books for a sales meeting. During my extensive career I held many positions, spending the last 9 years as President and CEO. Wilson has a dominant position with thousands of elite athletes at all levels around the world as well as with major sports organizations: NFL, MLB, NCAA, AVP, USTA – Many of which I personally negotiated contracts with. I am proud to have led an incredible #1 Brand with outstanding people and leading positions in many sports – Tennis, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Soccer, Badminton and Golf.
My experience runs broad and deep and I led the company to tremendous success:
- Turned around money losing division into top performer throughout parent company, tripling sales and exploding profits.
- Led two highly successful acquisitions.
- Led the team in securing new adoptions which drove over $50 million in sales growth.
- Created an Innovation Center for the company which became the hub for developing breakthrough products across the product portfolio.
- Employee engagement was at an all-time high with a 96% response rate. I was rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trust/Leadership by 2000 employees.
